Furthermore, our high standards are controlled by independent testing institutes. Our products are manufactured according to IFS standard on “higher level”. To us, all of this is further proof that quality pays off.
Certifications
Our consistently high quality is confirmed by the IFS (International Food Standard) rating “higher level”. We are also BRC-certified (British Retail Consortium) and thus comply with the global standard for food safety.

Additionally, we are a member of the Assoziation ökologischer Lebensmittelhersteller (AöL – Association of organic food processors), who advocates the quality of organic food without genetic modifications.


The crossed grain is the internationally acknowledged "gluten-free symbol" of the AOECS - The Association of European Coeliac Societies, represented in Germany by the German Coeliac Society (Deutsche Zöliakiegesellschaft DZG). When printed on a product packaging, it helps consumers to identify that the product was manufactured and packed gluten-free according to the statutory requirements. The official licence number can be found underneath the "gluten-free symbol". Our gluten-free assortment currently consists of our three Organic Super Seed Crackers - but we're working on more ;-). As with all our certificates, the auditing of the production standard for ensuring the gluten-free production is carried out annually.

ÖKO-TEST
In 2021, our crispbread „Organic Classic 3-Seed“ was evaluated by the German independent consumer magazine ÖKO-TEST. In the extensive test “crispbread with sesame” (06/2021) 20 crispbreads of different producers were rated according to the criteria “ingredients” (e.g. acrylamide and pesticide load) and “sensory properties” (e.g. taste, mouthfeel). With an overall “GOOD” our crispbread was one of the favourites and thus outshines 16 other crispbreads.
Stiftung Warentest
In 2019, our crispbread „Organic Classic 3-Seed“ was closely examined for its acrylamide content by German consumer organisation Stiftung Warentest. In their test in the category crispbread our product scored best and was the only crispbread to be awarded the overall rate of „very good (1,0)“. A combination of traditional baking artisanry and an optimized baking process leads to reduced acrylamide formation.


Awards



2020 our Organic Lentil Snacks won the New Product Showcase Award at ISM. Our hearty snacks were chosen to be the most innovative product at the fair out of 178 applicants by an independent jury of experts.

German Design Award
2019 the packaging design of our Protein snack Sesame & Linseed received the German Design Award in the category „Excellent Communications Design Packaging“.

In 2019 our HÜTTS were honoured with the “Gulfood Innovation Award“ (Dubai) in the category „Most Innovative Organic Product“.

In 2017, we were awarded the “German Brand Award“ in the category FMCG for sustainable brand management by the German Design Council.
