Energy balls

Preparation

  • douse 100g dried, pitted dates with water and let them soak overnight
  • pour the dates into a sieve and collect the date water
  • finely puree the dates together with some date water in a high-performance mixer
  • add 150g ground almonds, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • grind 5 slices of our organic crispbread Classic 3-Seed: break into pieces and add to the mixer
  • blend it all together thoroughly until you get a homogenous dough
  • if the dough is too sticky add a some ground almonds; it it ist too dry add some water
  • let rest in the fridge for 30 minutes
  • form one-size balls
  • roll the balls in e.g. pistachio pieces, sesame or fruit powder (e.g. strawberry powder)
  • energy balls keep for about 2 weeks when cooled
