We bake our crispbread with lots of love for the craft. Therefore, choosing the right ingredients is essential. Carefully selected natural raw materials of best quality not only taste delicious but can – if combined wisely – be turned into a special crispbread creation. We would like to elaborate on a few particularly interesting ingredients:

All our products contain the power of the whole grain. As opposed to white flour, wholegrain flour is made by milling the whole grain, including germ and bran. This is why wholegrain flour contains all mineral nutrients and vitamins that can be found in a grain (magnesium, zinc, iron, calcium, vitamin B1, vitamin E). Wholesome fibres are also preserved during milling.

High-quality wholegrain flours are the basis for our delicious crispbreads. The variety 5-Grain, for example, contains 57 % wholegrain flour, as well as a selected mix of wheat, spelt, rye, oat, and barley.

All our products are produced with extra virgin olive oil. The term stands for the highest quality of olive oil, with “virgin” meaning “natural” or “unprocessed”, and “extra” meaning “particularly good”. The oil from the fruit of the olive tree not only tastes great, but can also have other positive effects on our body, due to its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. Read more about them here.

Our crispbread Classic 3-Seed contains 31 % seeds (sesame seeds, linseeds, sunflower seeds), which makes it a veritable “seed bomb”.

Oilseeds, like for example linseeds, sesame seeds or sunflower seeds, are characteristically high in plant-based proteins, vitamins, mineral nutrients and trace elements. As essential properties of oilseeds are often destroyed during processing (e. g. when they are broken or chopped up), we use them in their natural form as whole seeds. It’s proven once again: As simple and natural as possible is the best way forward.

Superfoods are becoming more and more popular with health-conscious consumers. They are characteristically particularly high in nutrients, active ingredients or vital substances – much more so than other foods. Some of the currently most popular superfoods can also be found in our crispbreads and wholegrain snacks.
