We bake our delightful products with lots of love for the craft. Therefore, choosing the right ingredients is essential. Carefully selected natural raw materials of best quality not only taste delicious but can – if combined wisely – be turned into a special crunchy creation. We would like to elaborate on a few particularly interesting ingredients:
High-quality wholegrain flours are the basis for our crispbreads, snacks and crunchy delights. The variety 5-Grain, for example, contains 66 % wholegrain flour, as well as a selected mix of wheat, spelt, rye, oat, and barley.

We also bake our Super Seed Crackers with wholegrain flour - but gluten-free! Impossible? It is possible, thanks to gluten-free oat - find more info on that in the next section.
Oat is a true bundle of nutrients: A high amount of vitamins (e.g. B-vitamins), mineral nutrients (iron, zinc, magnesium) and fibres make oat a valuable, grainy addition to your diet.
In principle, oat is gluten-free by nature. However, during traditional cultivation, harvest and processing, contamination with grain containing gluten (e.g. wheat, rye or barley) is possible. Therefore the oat products that can be found in store sadly are not gluten-free per se. Oat that is marked as gluten-free is subject to frequent controls throughout all processing steps in order to keep it gluten-free along the various processing steps. If you wish to deliberately keep a gluten-free diet, you should look out for the gluten-free symbol on products. Our Super Seed Crackers only contain gluten-free oatflakes and wholegrain oatmeal as well as further gluten-free ingredients. This is acknowledged by the AOECS - The Association of European Coeliac Societies with the licence to use the official "gluten-free grain". Find out more about our certification here.
Whether it be mountain cheese, Emmental or mozzarella: We love cheese! Freshly sprinkled on just before baking, it gives our Hütts a wonderfully hearty note. With cheese, as with all our ingredients, we are committed to best quality. That's why we exclusively use Emmental e. g. for our favourite, Emmental Cheese & Pumpkin Seed. Emmental is left to mature longer than many other cheeses, like Gouda, for example. We are convinced that you can taste the difference.
For our crispbreads, wholegrain snacks and wholegrain delights we use extra virgin olive oil. The term stands for the highest quality of olive oil, with “virgin” meaning “natural” or “unprocessed”, and “extra” meaning “particularly good”. The oil from the fruit of the olive tree not only tastes great, but can also have other positive effects on our body, due to its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids. Read more about them here.
Oilseeds, like for example linseeds, sesame seeds or sunflower seeds, are characteristically high in plant-based proteins, vitamins, mineral nutrients and trace elements. As essential properties of oilseeds are often destroyed during processing (e. g. when they are broken), we mainly use them in their natural form as whole seeds. It’s proven once again: As simple and natural as possible is the best way forward.
Superfoods are becoming more and more popular with health-conscious consumers. They are characteristically particularly high in nutrients, active ingredients or vital substances – much more so than other foods. Some of the currently most popular superfoods can also be found in our product assortment.

Small power bundles
Amaranth
These power seeds are nutritionally balanced and give you all the power you need: The “holy miracle seed of the Inca” is one of the world’s oldest cultivated plants. Amaranth includes more protein, vitamins, mineral nutrients and vegetable fats than other, more well-known types of grain.
Our gluten-free organic Super Seed Cracker Amazing Amaranth is not only perfect for dips but pure crunch delight on its own.

Chia Seeds
The power seed chia contains an above-average amount of omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, amino acids, antioxidants, fibres and vitamins, and are considered to be true miracle seeds in the world of plants. Thus, the “powerful seeds” are a healthy source of energy.
Our Organic Crispbread Chia & Oats is a source of omega-3 and thus perfect for a short break from your everyday hustle and bustle.

Quinoa
These small seeds do not only taste excellent, they also provide a big portion of valuable nutrients. Due to a particularly high amount of high-grade proteins and essential amino acids – among them lysine, which can otherwise almost exclusively be found in meat and fish – Quinoa is an interesting alternative, especially for vegetarians and vegans.
Our wholegrain snack Organic Spelt & Quinoa is sprinkled with the small “miracle seeds”, giving it extra crunch and a wonderfully nutty flavor – perfect for when you are feeling peckish.

Cranberries
The tart, acidic red fruit of the cranberry shrub originated in North America and was used by Native Americans for medical treatments. Cranberries contain a high amount of vitamin B and C, as well as natural antioxidants.
The red berries not only give our crispbread, our organic crispbread and our wholegrain snack Cranberry Coconut a particularly nice appearance, but also a fruity and tropical flavour.
